We will complete or review your Jumpstart Business Plan, and make sure all four sections reflect the goals and vision for your business. The plan will provide the confidence and competitive edge to get things rolling.

We will create a plan to reach and acquire customers, and to make sure prospects can find you online. And I'll give you a proven sales process that you will be comfortable with.

Who Am I?

From the corporate world to entrepreneurship, I’ve learned from a lot of mentors and business owners. I started Business Jumpstart to help people start and grow their small business. Here’s a brief bio.

Business Coach

The Corporate World

I spent several years as a management consultant for two CPA firms, and had the opportunity to work with many entrepreneurs and small business owners on a variety of consulting projects. I’ve seen many successful businesses, and some that were not successful, but most importantly my long-term goal became clear: entrepreneurship.

My First Business

I thought about starting a business from scratch. I looked at buying an existing business. But I ultimately decided that a franchise would be a good way to get started in my first business. I learned a trade. I learned about the importance of systems and processes. I learned the value of sales and marketing. And I learned from mistakes I made along the way. But I grew the business from 3 employees to 25 employees, and it was a very rewarding and successful journey.

Sales Management

After selling my business, I worked for some other similar businesses in sales and general management roles. I gained valuable experience learning more about the importance of systems and processes (and people).

Business Coaching

As I worked and networked with small business owners, it became obvious that many owners could benefit from coaching and mentoring. I was fortunate to have a franchise corporation help me with my first venture, but most business owners did not have a support system to help them. So I began a business to help home improvement contractors start and grow their businesses.

New Business

I joined a business networking group and met several private practice professionals (chiropractors, acupuncturists, attorneys, therapists, etc.) who also needed help with marketing and sales for their businesses. I worked closely with a family member to start a private practice and build it to multiple six-figure revenues. And I started another home improvement business just before the COVID years.

So What?

That might have been a bit long-winded, but I wanted to let you know about my background and how I got into coaching. I’m certainly not a guru. But I do have a lot of valuable experience that can be helpful to those who want to start and grow a business.
